Is there a clubhouse for people with a physical disability in the nyc area? - nyc disability
Hello to all. I found the clubs if you have a mental disability, and there are clubs which are essentially programs, day care centers for adults, but what if you do not fall into this category? What happens when MS or a brain tumor, so that it can not work, but I want to go from time to time. Does anybody know anything?

The club model is not used with non-psychiatric disability may or cognitive (the person with a brain tumor can fit people with brain injuries). It is a protectionist environment for people who need support and consistency. Many people receive their medication on a daily basis just to help them get their safe drugs (many of them are homeless.) Meals will be served. Medical care is often raised. They are used by nonprofit organizations that run most of Medicare and Medicaid dollars received for the implementation.
ReplyDeleteThe day programs are not much different - just in general with a dependent population, that the transportation to get back - and often for older people with disabilities with their children at work live - the type of child care, adult education.
I know of no such programs independently, for further information can people with disabilities.
